With big data a hot topic, it's only a matter of time before home users realize the need for everyday protection. I've already written at length about how these drives are useful for spies and executives, but we're moving into an era where everyone's storing their pictures, personal spreadsheets, and even their school assignments on drives.
With the USB version of the KP, it's as simple as writing down the code and handing it off. That gives the KP a nice niche. Where the larger drive serves as a portable hard drive with a robust security feature that likely will not change hands, the smaller flash drive can be used as an escape pod of sorts for when you need to hand over files, programs, photos, or videos.
This new drive is my new digital briefcase. This is a hard drive I can carry to and from school, the studio, and meetings with clients with the added bonus of security.
